happiness! my Groom has a suit!

The title says it all! I'm ecstatic that Topher has his suit already. Yay! :)

This weekend is the Fourth of July holiday and holidays here are synonymous to SALE! Today, we visited the nearest Premium Outlet (in Aurora) to browse and check deals for suits.We checked Kenneth Cole, Calvin Klein, Brooks Brothers, Banana Republic, Van Heusen and Perry Ellis. I thought we found what we were looking for at Banana Rep, a dark gray suit that was easy on the wallet. Gray dress shirt and a plum tie to finish the look.

We decided to look around first to make sure that we won't miss anything. When we got to Perry Ellis, we found the best deal around. Topher tried on a suit that's called City Fit (meaning it's more tapered as compared to a Classic Fit), and it fits him best. He like it very much. However, their gray suit was wayyyy too light for our taste. Since he like this fit best, we decided on a black suit, a black dress shirt and a silver tie. Coolness.

The best part? His complete look (coat, pants, dress shirt and tie) cost us less than $150! Isn't that just awesome?! Happiness. As for the checklist, Groom's Suit = Checked!
